Photobooth at Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula | Where We Set Up & Why It Works

A guide to setting up a photobooth at Temecula Creek Inn. Where we place the booth, how the Stone House, The Meadows, and Golf Plaza work, and what couples should know.

Temecula Creek Inn sits on over 300 acres in Rainbow Canyon, surrounded by rolling hills, a championship golf course, and some of the oldest oak trees in the valley. It is one of the most scenic wedding venues in Temecula Wine Country, and we have had the pleasure of setting up our photobooth in multiple spaces across the property. Here is what we have learned.

The event spaces at Temecula Creek Inn

Temecula Creek Inn has three distinct event spaces.

The Stone House is a historic building from the 1800s, originally a bunkhouse for quarry workers. It is tucked into a secluded part of the property next to the golf course. Two landscaped lawns are connected by a rustic wooden footbridge, with one used for the ceremony and the other for the reception. Century-old oak trees are draped in twinkle lights, and the space includes built-in fire pits, a bar, a bocce ball court, and a dance floor. It seats up to 270 guests.

The Meadows is an outdoor space styled as an English garden, nestled among eucalyptus, oak, and magnolia trees. It features two broad lawns, a cascading waterfall backdrop for ceremonies, and a wooden pergola for cocktail hour. The reception area includes an arbor-covered lounge with plush couches, swinging chairs, and fire pits. Dinner is served under bistro lights canopied between rows of trees. It seats up to 150 guests.

The Golf Plaza is an outdoor space adjacent to a waterfall and the on-site Chef’s Garden. It is a flexible area with market lighting that works well for events like welcome parties and rehearsal dinners.

Where we set up the photobooth

We have set up at both the Golf Plaza and inside the Stone House during weddings. Here is a look at one of our setups at the Golf Plaza:

For weddings at the Stone House, we typically recommend setting up inside. The Temecula hills are beautiful, but the winds pick up at night and can interfere with backdrops, prints, and the overall guest experience. Inside the Stone House, you get a protected space with the same charming atmosphere. The twinkle lights, the stone walls, and the warm evening ambiance all make for great photos without fighting the weather.

For weddings at The Meadows, we work with the couple and coordinator to find the best placement within the reception area based on the specific layout for the evening.

The shuttle and vendor logistics

Temecula Creek Inn has strict vendor requirements and a unique shuttle system. The Stone House is set apart from the main hotel, so guests are shuttled in and out. We have been through this process multiple times and know exactly how to coordinate load-in, setup, and breakdown around the shuttle schedule and the venue’s policies. It is one less thing for you to worry about.

Why Temecula Creek Inn is a beautiful venue for a wedding

Here is what makes Temecula Creek Inn stand out:

  • 300 acres of natural scenery. The property spans rolling hills, mature oak trees (some over 300 years old), and a 27-hole championship golf course. The landscape provides endless backdrops for both photography and a photobooth.
  • Historic character. The Stone House dates back to the 1800s. The rustic stone walls, vintage wooden shutters, and the footbridge between the lawns give the venue a character you cannot replicate.
  • Privacy. Both wedding spaces are situated away from the main hotel, so your event feels secluded and intimate even on a property this large.
  • On-site accommodations. With 123 hotel rooms on the property, guests can stay on-site. Less worry about transportation, more time enjoying the evening.
